Dr. Sohad Murrar is a social psychologist who researches intergroup relations and social interventions. She focuses on developing and testing approaches for reducing prejudice and creating inclusive environments for social minorities and marginalized groups across different contexts. She consults on the representation of minorities in film, television, and educational materials and helps develop effective institutional diversity and inclusion strategies using evidence-based approaches for social change. Dr. Murrar currently serves as an assistant professor of psychology at Governors State University, research scientist at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and expert scholar at the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding.
